Technician/Research Associate Positions in Expanding Biotech Company

Ambergen seeks experienced, motivated and creative individuals to join a growing R&D team to accelerate the development of its proprietary molecular diagnostic platforms. Project areas include development of molecular diagnostic assays for cancer and autoimmune disorders using in vitro protein expression as well as genomics and proteomics-based biomarker discovery.

Candidates for Technician/Research Associate positions should have a BS or an MS in Biological Sciences and strong skills in molecular biology and basic laboratory techniques. Experience in PCR, gene cloning, ELISA and other immunoassays, as well as in vitro and in vivo protein expression will be an advantage. We look for strong organizational abilities, conscientious laboratory skills and ability to work in a goal-oriented team environment. Willingness to work under BL2 bio-safety laboratory conditions is a must. 1-4 years of post-graduate laboratory experience is desirable.

Additional areas of experience which are desirable are:

Molecular Biology & Biochemistry

Western blotting, immunoprecipitation, microarrays, protein isolation and analysis.

Molecular Diagnostics

Assay development.

Sample Preparation & Cell Biology

Human serum handling and blood cell separation as well as DNA, RNA and protein isolation from various biological sources. Mammalian cell culture and extraction.

The salary range starts at $45,000 although more experienced candidates can expect a higher pay level.
